Judoscale now supports Scalingo
Judoscale now integrates with Scalingo, bringing latency-based autoscaling to web containers and background workers.

Good news for Scalingo users looking for more ways to fine-tune how their applications scale: Judoscale now officially supports Scalingo.
Judoscale is an autoscaling service designed around application latency. Instead of relying on infrastructure metrics alone, it can scale web containers based on request queue time and background workers based on job queue latency.
For Judoscale, supporting Scalingo was a natural response to what they were seeing among their own customers:
“We've had several Judoscale customers move from Heroku to Scalingo, and they're excited that they can keep using Judoscale across hosting platforms.” – Adam McCrea, Judoscale Founder
For us, this integration is also about giving both communities more choice:
“We’re delighted to offer Scalingo users even more choice when it comes to autoscaling, while giving Judoscale users the option to run their applications on a sovereign cloud platform. It’s a great addition to the Scalingo ecosystem.” – Yann Bienvenu, CRO at Scalingo
Another way to autoscale on Scalingo
Scalingo already includes a strong built-in autoscaling feature, allowing applications to automatically adjust their number of containers according to metrics such as requests per minute, CPU or memory usage.
But for teams with more specific requirements, Judoscale adds another option, particularly for scaling web and worker containers based on application-level queue latency.
As the Judoscale team puts it:
“Scalingo has one of the most powerful platform-native autoscalers we've seen, but some customers still need a dedicated autoscaler. Judoscale brings controls and visibility that go above and beyond built-in autoscalers. Autoscaling worker containers based on job queues can also help dramatically reduce hosting costs and avoid queue backlogs.”
Judoscale supports web applications and background workers across popular Ruby, Python, Node.js and Java frameworks and job-processing systems.
Already running on Scalingo
Scalingo customers are already experiencing the benefits of Judoscale. Yespark, for example, has been using Judoscale with its Scalingo application for several months.
"We’re seeing really solid results with Judoscale. Autoscaling is doing its job, and we love the calendar feature." – Navid Emad, Yespark
For Scalingo users, the new integration means even more choice in how applications respond to changing workloads: use Scalingo's built-in autoscaling capabilities, or integrate a dedicated autoscaling solution like Judoscale for specific requirements, all while continuing to easily deploy and run their applications on Scalingo.
