Scalingo maintains ISO 27001 and HDS certifications! Next step: SecNumCloud
One year ago, Scalingo became the 1st French Platform-as-a-Service certified ISO 27001 and Health Data Hosting.
This certification must be renewed every 3 years, and is accompanied by annual follow-up audits during the first cycle.
Therefore, on August 28, 2023, we received confirmation that our ISO 27001 and HDS (Health Data Hosting certifications have been maintained.)
Certified since September 2022, Scalingo confirms its position as 1st French and European Platform-as-a-Service certified ISO 27001 and Health Data Host.
Since 2022, Scalingo has been bringing the power of rapid application deployment to the healthcare sector, enabling developers to deploy their web projects in under 2 minutes, without having to manage servers, and hosting all data in France.
ISO 27001: a high level of Information Security
The internationally-recognized ISO 27001 standard defines the requirements for an organization's Information Security Management System (ISMS). ISO 27001 implies the implementation of a set of policies, procedures and tools to ensure an adequate level of information security. In Scalingo's case, these are particularly high, as a consequence of the commitments we make.
Information security applies not only to confidentiality, but also to its availability and integrity. This standard is a guarantee of the reliability of the processes and tools used throughout the company.
Health Data Hosting on a French and Sovereign Cloud
We announced it a few months ago: the HDS certification stands for "Hébergeur de Données de Santé" and was developed by the ANS (Agence du Numérique en Santé). This French standard focuses on the protection and confidentiality of personal health data.
The use of an HDS-certified hosting service is mandatory for companies working with healthcare data, and Scalingo's achievement of this certification means that French healthcare players can benefit from the productivity of PaaS tools in a compliant, secure environment.
On the road to SecNumCloud, the highest level of security
Maintaining HDS and ISO 27001 certifications is a positive signal for Scalingo, which is working towards obtaining the SecNumCloud visa, the highest level of security to date for the cloud, issued by the French National Agency for Information Systems Security (ANSSI).
Published in 2016, the SecNumCloud repository was designed for cloud companies to implement and reinforce many aspects of their physical, organizational or contractual security.
SecNumCloud accreditation will help public and parapublic sector players and businesses to speed up the pace of their innovations without compromising on data sovereignty, while guaranteeing a very high level of security.
In the meantime, since 2020, Scalingo has been offering a SecNumCloud region based on the 3DS OUTSCALE Cloud, making it an exception among French Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings.
